I really ejoyed my entire 8 week bear season this year. I saw a lot of animals of all types and looked over quite a few bears. With only 7 min left on the last evening I decided to take this 250 lb’er. Now I am looking forward to some great sausage, smoked backstraps, and burgers this summer!
I know you guys always like load details so here’s what I used.
Knight Wolverine 209
Barnes 300gr Expander MZ
90gr. Pyro Select
Win. 209 w/ a red plastic jacket
29 yd. shot with a 30 ft distance to recovery.

Congrats on the nice bear! Looks like the Barnes did its job.

Nice bear. And nice Wolverine, that was my first purchase when I turned 18. Been working on a bear for a few seasons now, hope to join you in success this fall.

Thanks rugerbh103 I love that Knight rifle. I made it my own years ago with a Black Ice Teflon coating and DIY paint job. Shoots well too, so it gets used a lot.
