Beautiful wood especially the figure in the toe area. Too bad it's a percussion gun. ;)
 
yup pretty....and probably for a little bit more you could convert to flint......drum and nipple comes out, vent screws in and depending on lock.....drop in flintlock. 8) .......however if history is a concern, a percussion is completely p.c.

More importantly how much for the gun?.....as to whether one spends a bit more for the conversion.
 
He wants 1K and I think that includes shipping. Guy who built it is in fact the author of the book Texas Gun trade
 
Kit gun or made up of parts? WHo made the kit or the parts? caliber?....personally if it was me .50 or above would make it more desirable. Looks like the stock has stripe throughout.

In any case probably well worth the price.........for the right guy for the right reason would be a great gun.
