Can anyone suggest a load that works well in a Knight Wolverine 50 cal with 209s?

I'll do plenty of range testing but figure that I might as well learn from your experience instead of starting from zero with this rifle!

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I have a Wolverine II, 26" stainless tube.
It likes a MMP black sabot with a 240gr XTP/MAG and 90grV of BH209.

Who makes the MMP sabot? Is thata brand name?
Sure would be nice to find teh BH209, I've been looking for it and can't seem to find anyone who carries it. Not even Cabela's!

Try some .430 diameter .44 caliber, Hornady XTPs in a Harvester green crushed rib sabot. I shoot them with 85 grains of powder in my Wolverine.

I think all of the above are good choices. I know they will shoot a 200gr .40cal XTP in a blue MMP sabot. Also the 240gr and 300gr .430 XTPs are a good choice too. I'd probably start with 80-90gr of powder..
