Lyman Globe Front Sights, 17AMI & 17AML. What's the difference?

Would someone please explain to me the difference between 2 Lyman 17Axx globe front sights?
One is the 17AMI and the other is the 17AML. They are both the same height at .494" and the globes appear to be the same size. They are listed as 3/8" Dovetail and .375" Dovetail, which is the same.
3 divided by 8 = .375

Im pretty sure that the AML is a typo. On Lymans sight they list the AMI but no AML.

I have both the the AHB and the AMI for my Renegade.

I thought the same thing until I saw on the Buffalo Arms web site, both are listed.

I texted Lyman about the issue.
Their reply: Both are 3/8" globes. The 17AML is for Muzzleloader. The 17AMI is not. What is the AMI for? They didn't answer that question.

That is odd. Theyre virtually identical.
