I've just come back from a cabela's shopping spree. Ready to buy a scope for my elite. Probably going to buy the VXI leupold 3-9 x 40. I saw in the catalog that they came out with scopes for muzzleloaders. Should I be looing to buy one of them or is a regular VXI ok. Would like to know what the difference is between them.

Excellent choice! :D

I'd go the the regular VX-I. The shotgun/muzzleloader VX-I 3-9X40 is parallex free at 75yds. The regular VX-I 3-9X40 is parallex free at 150yds. The Disc Elite has the potential to be a longer-range muzzleloader so just the regular VX-I 3-9X40 would be the one I would pick.
