Hey Sharpsman (may have to change that to "sharpshooter")  I read an interesting comparison report on Goex, KIK and Elephant black powder.  Seems the KIK powder is a little faster and has a noticeable sharper kick.  Here's the report if you haven't seen it already:  http://www.norwestcompany.com/comparison.htm

That is some good shootin' and a fine rifle! 

That rifling is deeper than on my gun for sure.  Can you measure that depth?
