IdahoRon is a member here too btw.
I know how to paper patch I was just trying to figure out what size template + papper would work best for this bullet particularly. Mike Nesbitts the guy who designd this bullet over 40 years ago actually responded on 9ne of my posts and gave me advice on patching the bullet. I have a .457" fast twist and a .458" fast twist and the .458 nose is to protect the leading edge of the paper so patch the shank to that nose diameter at bore size makes for a great hunting bullet 3 wraps should work well in a muzzleloader. I played around with some papers and templates and found out if I patched them with 3 wraps of 25lb paper I have had laying around and it came out to .4576" exactly. There's vids on youtube about paper patching. Any chance that Idaholewis did one for beginners that's still around?
