New member from Northern Nevada here. After 6 years with no hunting tags, my wife and I got our mule deer tags last year and I fell in love with hunting again. We spent a lot of time in the mountains and I didn’t want to wait that long again between hunting experiences.
I spent hours researching and compiling information on draw odds, success rates, and animal size from biologists reports from the past few years. Instead of just choosing areas that we were more familiar with and close to the house, we chose areas based of the spreadsheet I made. Well it worked out.
I drew my first Bull Elk tag in Nevada with a muzzleloader and here I am. Jumping straight in and joining the community.
