Hello To All

I am new to inline muzzies (1yr). I am Navy retired, Border Patrol retired. I own a CVA Apex with 50cal and 45cal barrels.
I did my first muzzleloader elk hunt last Nov. in Utah It was a meat hunt for a cow elk. I brought down a nice cow.
I used my 50 cal., load was Harvester 300gr bt scorpion in black crush rib sabot on top of 80 gr(weighed) of Blackhorn 209.

Welcome to the forum and we appreciate all you did for our country.

That sounds like an excellent load. I never hunted elk with a muzzleloader. But I have picked Sabotloader's brain numerous time on his loads and powder. Yours sound successful also.
