New Optics and Mounts on The Mountaineer

I had Talley scope rings on my Mountaineer since I 1st bought it.

I had alot of success with it but noticed the rings/bases kept coming loose on me. I've used locktite but still had the same issues.

My other Mountaineer has a EGW base with weaver style rings and never had a problem.

I Decided to take that route

I went with the 20 moa base and Burris Extreme tactical rings holding a Leupold VX-3i 3.5-10x40mm CDS.

Its off to the range next week for sight in

Looks like a SOLID setup! :yeah: I have a Boyd’s stock in that same Color, i think mine is called a Pro Varmint? My Weatherby Vanguard S2 in 6.5 Creedmoor sits very nicely in it :yeah:
