I purchased mine through Western Steel in Park City, Utah. Katie is my contact and she engineered the building. She has been great to work with and I would recommend them to anyone, plus, she’s really easy on the eyes
I certainly am. I hate this time of year when the days are so short. If I could have started this in the summer, I could probably be done in the amount of days I’ve worked on it so far.
A good calm night last night and I got the rest of the wall panels up. Got the corner trim and eave trim finished on one side. Now it’s snowing. We need it but I sure wish it would have waited a couple more weeks.
No, it’s the batt insulation that you roll out between the sheeting and framework. Then you screw the sheeting down. It compresses the insulation at the girts and purlins. It’s a pain in the neck. The spray foam would be easier and I would probably be closed in by now had I decided to go that way.
Finished getting the roof on and all the gable trim today. Go ahead and snow now. It was just starting some flurries when we climbed off the roof. Still have a few screws to put in here and there, but for the most part, the shell is done.
