Hello Neebie to muzzleloader. Got a Cva wolf v2 yesterday and the ram rod has me perplexed. You tube videos show guys pushing the bullet with the open/black end instead of the bronze end where the palm saver attaches. The owners manual says the included extension piece suppose to plug into the shaft and it does not..

The ramrod are pretty horrible but they do work. You can load from the open black end as CVA states. Or screw in a jag to the other side and use the palm saver on the open end. The ramrod is long enough when you load a charge.
