I love the side profile visual of a laminate it's just when I turn it upside down and look at the bottom it's not very appealing as far as function I think they're great,,, I really like the colors of that stock

No fitting required. I did shim one of the contact points with a piece of tape for better barrel free float. Also, I rounded the square forearm for better feel.

No one asked but the price for this stock was $200 delivered. I did this upgrade to reflect the outstanding accuracy and perfect function/design of this gun. It will hold its own to 200yds (my range limit) with ANY rifle I own. TC got this one right, except for the plastic stocks!

that is a nice looking rifle for sure. I've done some laminate stuff with marlins but never anything blackpowder.

Did you get the stock unfinished? If not, what did you use to refinish it. The reason that I ask is because I have a laminate with a few safe kisses and I’m trying to work out how best to refinish it.

The stock came with the standard low gloss finish. I used this to touch up where I reshaped the forearm...https://www.midwayusa.com/product/2020650485?pid=650485 (Permalyn)
It blends in perfectly as it is absorbed into the wood.
