Toaday I was able to look over my new gun.
I took out the ramrod and was going to unscrew the jag, but when I did I found that it has a smaller gauge rod that threads and extends the rod by 3"+/_.
I assume this is done when cleaning the gun? There is no mention of it in the CVA manual.
Also the manual says do not shoot heavier sabots than 300 gr. and I was told by PR Bullets that I should use 360 gr. for Elk with their Extreme Elite bullets. These are a good bit less expensive than many others and I thought would be good for practice and familiarizing myself with the gun and the whole process.
Recomendations?
