Which is the "best" blackpowder to use?

By "best", I'm asking for the following:
Ease of clean-up.
Consistant velocities from can to can/batch to batch.
Quality for the price.

Swiss

I can't find Swiss locally. Wish i could, i would give it a try.

Take a trip this September and come on down to Friendship for the weekend. You can stock up on it there. I usually pick up 3 or 4 cans during the Nationals. Swiss has been the most consistant powder I've used yet. Clean-up's not much worse than Triple Se7en either.

I have really had good luck with Triple Se7en. I've shot a pile of it is umpteen different muzzleloaders with really no REAL problems. An occasional crud ring that goes away by reducing the charge is about all.. I'm still in the process of trying some of the new stuff out there..

I might have to see what i can work out Chief. I'm sure i could escape for a weekend. I imagine all the local motels fill up pretty quick. Might have to bring a tent, must be a campground close by.

Sorry I didn't see your post Robbie,,,but Mike has it right.

Yeah, Mike there's plenty of camping available. I know some good spots too..
