This morning the 260g Dead Center was tested. Range was 25 yard. Powder charge was 80 grain Blackhorn.














The bullet destroyed the front jug, split the second jug, holed the third jug, and was caught by the fourth jug. It now weighs 206g

Looks good. About how I thought they would do, based on what most folks say about them.

I wonder if the .45/40 260 would perform similar? I would have to think so, as the basic design is the same. :huh?: Wish I had some to send you. :roll: They are on my list of bullets to obtain and try in my super disc.
 
The closest i have here is a 50/40/240. Seems like it would do just about the same in the test, what with being lighter, but with about the same sectional density.
