Precision Rifle "Dead Center" bullet experience?

there are wild hogs in southern ohio............open season on em.no restriction and ok to use rifle.ie-.270

Re hogs in OH, there is a hunting preserve in SE OH- http://www.dalerayhunting.com/
it is close to me, but I have never been there.

I'm from Ohio, born in Ketering. I now live in S. Florida.
I actually jumped about 40 hogs this morning... I shot at one that was about 15 yards away, even though I said I would pass any I came accross- lol. I shot high to compensate for the close range but I think too high. The hogs all ran out of the palmettos in a hurry (When I shot I couldn't see my victim very good due to cover) but several seconds later one came out by iteself walking away as I reloaded and it didn't look like it was doing to well. I never did find a blood trail- nor where it went...
