primer question

What is the difference between CCI 209 primers and the 209M? I have heard it stands for magnum, but is that just a marketing tool? Is there a differnece in performance with BH 209?

ccim= magnums, they are supposedly hotter but who the heck knows unless you have a way to test them.

thats what I was thinking. I would however, to give into my own curiosity, like to shoot them through a chrono and compare. Only problem is... i dont have a chrono.

Some folks feel that milder primers give better accuracy. The magnum primers might be better for 777 and BH209 which seem harder to ignite.
