RICE 1-24 Twist .50 Cal, 615 Grain Paper Patch, 100 Yard 3 Shot Group

I got back out with my .50 Cal Rice 1-24 Twist this morning, I shot my 615 Grain Paper Patch Bullets this Go around, Cast of 1-20 Alloy

Same spot i shot last time, This is a Ranged 100 Yards

Short Patched, Paper Mill Store 9# onion Skin Paper, Sent to me by Rob (rfd)

Shot #3 goes through Shot #1 (right) .900 Outside edge to outside edge of Group, Minus .492 for Bullet Diameter, This 100 Yard 3 Shot Group measures .408, Well under a 1/2“ inch with Open/Peep sights This .50 Cal 1-24 Twist RICE Barrel is a SERIOUS Shooter, So far i have been able to Shoot under 1” inch 3 Shot Groups at 100 Yards with this Barrel EVERY Single Outing, With 2 Different Bullets, The 610 Grease Groove, and 615 Paper Patch

I was at the range yesterday. With the exception of a couple of fliers, my shooting was pretty good. About 2 inch groups at 50 yards. Not bad I guess with the short barrel Tennessee rifle.

Dont feel bad , I only get about 4" avr. @ 50 yds in a 5 shot group. There is no doubt it is my eyes. I got new glasses and they are worse than the old ones for shooting.

That’s a 1” barrel isn’t it? Nice shooting!
