Sometimes I’ll carry a pouch when hunting with an original percussion gun but many times not. Depends on where I go.
Gun is ready and loaded when I hit the woods.
6 or so caps in a single powder vial.
2-3 Powder charges, each in vials.
2-3 Roundball or bullet in pocket along with some patches.
Caps and powder vials in 1 shirt pocket, balls and patch in another - lite travels holding only my gun.
 
exactly how I go hunting. When at home I store my .32/.36 round balls in m/t planters peanut plastic bottles.
Store the bigger rb in original boxes.
