The other weekend a couple friends and I went for a jeep ride into the mountains. Afterward, we went exploring and found an elk hang out.  A lot of deer and  turkey in the area to!

All private land where  the deer and elk are. Unit 85 sucks for ntl forest/blm.

Has it been unusually warm or just lack of snow? Just seems there should be more snow.

Ok give me somewhere couple Old Folks can have fun out there. Not much walking and no Horse back riding.

We are thinking of Salida and Buena Vista visiting people. Never been to Telluride but it looks interesting.

My wife says I could go fishing but anymore I can't stand Trout.

Its been in the 70s and almost 80s. Theres still a lot of snow in the mountains. Actually, about 4-5 days ago we had a cold snap and more snow was on the mountains. The foothills where I am at however are really dry.

Buena Vista is nice. Ol bear claw and I hunted up there some years ago, he still lives there. Cottonwood Lake is a very nice drive, great camping and a lake to fish.

A ton of great places to visit in colorado.

My wife says she knows a lot of people in Buena Vista. I know some Mexicans up there and friends with them on FB but have to watch it I found one time I was also friends with some in Mexican Drug Cartel LOL.

"Friend" can have a double meaning on Facebook.
Yes I found this out I started getting pictures and thought maybe I better do more checking.

Got one other funny problem. I hate the Mountains. My wife asked Why? I told her they block the view.   She says that is the view!

This is why we moved to Missouri. Ok I know today 80 degrees 44% humidity and Oak Pollen is killing me.
