For you guys that use those scopes with large objectives Do you build up the stock to compensate for the added height or do just let your head come off the stock, seems like it would be hard to shoot that way.
I use moleskin even with low mounts although I really like to weld my cheek to the stock.

I find that most stocks, especialy those on my rifled shotgun are often too low for me to achieve proper sight alignement. In those cases I usually just add a Beartooth comb raising kit....

I use mostly 50mm scopes.I take off sights and find the lowest mounts I can use without touching the barrels.Leupold mounts, turn-in work the best for me. :lol: I have built-in cheek adustments(fat cheeks).LOL
