Guess WHAT? I all ready had some IMR-4198! :D

I REALLY wasn't THAT surprised! I guess I bought it to use with my first 10ML-II OR I used it with 40gr bullets for one of my .223s. Either way...I got some!

The only suggestion that I will pass on is to make sure to seat your bullet firmly. I always do, anyway, but I'm told that IMR (not Hodgon, so much) 4198 needs consistently firm seating pressure. I've never had any issues with it, but thought I'd pass that on for what it's worth. I think you'll like the powder. Now I've just got to get some N120 to try...

you know mountainman, that is really an important issue with smokeless muzlleloading that cant be stressed enough. i have always seated my sabot/bullets with alot of pressure and i have never had a miss fire due to failure of the powder to ignite. its always been a bad primer for me.
