Small rifle primers

Hankins sales small rifle,, and it seems some of his post I've read mentioned that spread numbers are actually lower and velocities are slightly lower too, I think a hundred feet which is not that much I'm looking at the small rifle primer issue too a little bit again just because lack of others ,I would think that the right plug and module with a small rifle in a short flame path should be fine for a lot of powders, and then again there are some that it would not be.
 
Closest I've gotten is using them as a possible replacement for a #10 cap on my percussion pistol (1858). While a piece of aquarium air tubing will hold them perfectly and keep them in place as the cylinder rotates, but they don't go pop....
