So I know this is a silly question but how do the T/C base adapters work? I have seen some for the Thunderhawk (pic) but mine only has two screws for the scope mounts and the adapter has multiple screw holes. Could I install this adapter and then a normal ring mount or then need a special T/C mount? On my New Englander, the ring mount and base were all one piece.
