TC encore ml barrel interchangeability?

I have a friend that has a tc prohunter , he has a friend that has an original encore 50 cal ml ss barrel does anyone know if that barrel will work on his prohunter?

The only difference between the Encore and the Pro Hunter is the Pro Hunter has a swing hammer and some engraving, functionally they are the same.

All variants of the Encore will interchange amongst themselves, save the Pro Hunter FX which has a fixed barrel. The standard Encore barrel is 26" with a basic but very functional thread in breech plug. The Pro Hunter barrel is 28", fluted and has a quick release plug. It's a quarter turn to unscrew then pull it out. It came with a special wrench that clipped on to it and made it easier to slide out. I imagine could be removed without the wrench but I never tried.
