Win 231 is a pistol powder so that’s pretty fast. I’m impressed at what it took to actually cause those barrels to fail.

Shotgun powders like Red Dot and 700X are very fast. There might be faster powders that I’m not familiar with. Win 231 is certainly not slow but it’s not as fast as the 2 that I mentioned.

I was being facetious. 231 is a fast powder. That's basically 40 45 ACP loads.

I know nothing about smokeless powders except you don't use it in traditional muzzleloaders.

BBGun when my wife was young, although still a beautiful woman, she would have put Ms Bullock to shame. How she stuck with me for almost 50 years + dating is beyond me.
