Got a Buckstalker for Christmas in about 2015. After laying around for years, i finally scoped and sighted in the rifle. It's very accurate when loaded with 100 grains of Pyrodex or Black MZ powder and the 250 grain SST bullet in the black crush rib sabot.

The breech plug is easy to remove after firing, the trigger pull is good and the rifle handles well. i'll use that rifle during muzzleloader season this year.

I don’t have the XT model but I have an original Buckstalker that I bought in 2009 and another one that I won. I find them a little front heavy but they work fine and shoot well with 80 grains of BH209 by volume and a 250 grain saboted bullet.
The Pursuit is similar but Carrie’s better with its fluted barrel.
