Traditions Trapper Pistol info

Anyone have any experiences with this pistol :?: Thinking of buying a kit from Midway USA unless Carlos has another TC Patriot around the shop.
Any and all info, good or bad will be appreciated.

I bought one of the kits for a percussion gun several years ago.  Only had some trouble fitting the trigger guard into place.  Had to heat up the brass and bend it some so it would fit.  I made some modifications to the gun so it would fit my hand better.  It shoots great, though the trigger pull is touchy.  Its either too hard or a very hair trigger.  Can't seem to adjust it half way in between.  May just replace the entire trigger assembly at some point, but for now I can live with it.
