And I agree with your findings about Teflon - I will not introduce it to the bore either - it burns and gets sticky.

Don Lilja of Lilja Presision Barrels is the first person that suggested to me NOT to put Teflon or Teflon products in a well made bore.
 
The problems i had with Remoil manifested themselves more in higher humidity too. If i reloaded quickly it was not that bad with BH209. Once the barrel cooled off though loading pressure was noticeably worse. The fouling appeared different even after a dry patch. I tested this theory one day. I carefully cleaned it out with brake cleaner and several patches. The odd BH209 fouling problem vanished. First shot POI returned to exceptable levels. I never used it again in the bore and the problem never came back.

T7 just plain gave me fits when i only used RemOil in the Win APEX. A 2nd shot was pretty much not going to happen without a damp patch.
