Unending Cruelty

My cats are always rescues. Some are rotten little monsters but patience eventually pays off and even my current nightmare cat is coming around... slowly.
Seems like the animals that get saved from hellholes can be the most loyal pets of all.

My neighbor does the same, "foster to new home". I help when I can, and I always pause when they are out, walking, to be a calm and friendly addition to the new social training. Sometimes it takes a while, but I am proud to be included in her photos for prospective new families. I know most stories have happy endings; there are some that do not, and those are so heartbreaking. Bless all of you who do this!

My current cat is a stray we found on the side of a over pass. How she got there we have no idea. She has been a little diva since day 1 but has always been friendly. The way she begs is so cute. Just staring at you with big sad eyes and a "pound kitty" meow when she wants something. We spoil her rotten too.
