Chesterfield County -- about 25 miles due South of Richmond.

As big as he is, blowing out that shoulder probably helped keep him nearby. I hated to lose the meat, but I filled a good sized cooler, so I doubt I'll miss it.

You lose a lot more meat when the deer runs off and you can't find it, so I never regret good bullet performance and DRT results.
