Peach, my TC Pennsylvania Hunter flintlock. 50 caliber for the after Christmas flintlock season. Calico, my TC Firehawk, for bear, buck and maybe a plump tasty.
Peach might even go for an early walk, if I notch a tag with Calico.
But Autumn, my factory laminate .50 percussion TC Hawken, would also appreciate a nice walk...
An embarrassment of riches.

My go to setup is my Savage 10MLII stainless laminate. My secondary setup is a new CVA Optima v2 nitride. This is the best time of the year to be in the woods in my locale. Good luck to everyone.

Accura MR with a Leupold Freedom 3x9x40 using 70 weighed grains of BH 209 and a 240 grain XTP in a green Harvester crush rib sabot.

.45 H&A buggy rifle .440 roundball, .015 patch lubed with deer tallow/olive oil mix, and 70gr of goex fffg. My backup gun will be my Remington 600 Mohawk 7mm-08. Both have nice short barrels and shoot where you point them. Turkey season is on now to, so I am hoping to cull out a white one that showed up this fall with the buggy rifle. Had a bad case of EHD (blue tongue) this year and most of the deer died off. ALL of the bid bucks have been found dead already and most of the does and fawns too. But the coyotes are fat and sassy and plentiful!

I have my new cva 45/70 barrel at Hanks now being converted to smokeless MZ. Have a bit over a month before the NY season starts. So hopefully...I'll be using that, if not my knight disc extreme...

I used my TC Triumph, bagged a nice 6pt yesterday, done for this year now, my Knight UL will have to wait for next year

Muzzleloading season done in NY we do have another season late in December. I usually use my Whitelightings even during regular gun season, however, this year will be using my Tikka Lite .270win for deer.

I'm using my NEF break open .45 SML conversion. It was a 12 ga that I converted to .45 with a stub job. Not a tac driver but groups 1 1/2" @ 100 and 5" @ 200. It launches 200gr XTP's and SST's @ 2450fps.

Custom Arrowhead smokeless .45 cal topped with a Leupold VX5HD 3X15.

Pretty basic here.

I trust both of these guns 100%. V2 Accura with 77 weighed grains of 209 powder under a black Harvester sabot and a 250 grain XPB Barnes. Optima pistol shooting 63 weighed grains of 209 powder under a green Harvester and 225 grain XPB Barnes. Both fired by Winchester shotshell primers. Zero leakage. The V2 is under an inch at 100 yards, the pistol under an inch at 50 yards.

Our season begins on Saturday of this up coming weekend and the pistol will go up the mountain with me as its going to be a short morning hunt, then off to my Grand daughter's wedding. The rest of the week will find me on stand every day. Or until my two tags are filled.
V2 for me also. 72.5 grns blackhorn weighed with 300 grn scorpian pt gold, win 209 primers. Love this gun. Gotta stay out of the gun shop as they have 2 X7 Omega there that have not been fired. One is a short youth model. My fingers were twitching.

Well I just loaded the truck and the ole faithful Omega is loaded up. Need some luck on my side as I’ve had tag soup for 2 years now. I am successful more often than not with that rifle.

Better not tell me where that shop is or you may have to buy it from me.
