Working up a load.

For spring turkey season! 20 ga. Fowler. Started with 75 gr of 2F with a thick Circle Fly over powder wad, under 1 1/4oz of #5 shot with the dipper with a thin card over. 4F in the pan.

Fired 2 shots at 15 yds, then 3 at 20, then the last shot at 15. I'm pulling the shot low, most of the time, so will practice more on my follow thru!

My first time ever loading and shooting a Flinter, and this gun hasn't been loaded in 30 yrs....and it went bang every time!!!

I've likely killed a dozen birds with my percussion double 12, but this is my first flinter!

Last target, back at 15. The 20 yd targets were similar, but I pulled them a bit.
