Best load for my H&R Handi conversions:
#1 .40 XTP 200gr in Harv Smooth Blue over Duplex of 7gr-5744/53gr-H4198 and Win209 primer = 2629fps avg and .95"all day long @ 100yds.
#2 .452 XTP 300gr .060 Veggie Wad and 53gr h4198 with Win 209 primer = 2238fps avg .97" all day long.
#3 .40 XTP 200gr in Harv Smooth Blue over 58gr-H4198 and Win209 primer = 2461fps avg and 1.2" @ 100yds
#4 .40 XTP 200gr in Harv Smooth Blue over 53gr-H4198 and Win209 primer = 2265fps avg and 1.5" @ 100yds (good low recoil load)

SST's will not shoot consistent in either of my conversions. I've tried 200 SST, 250SST, 300 SST (sabotless) knurled and un-knurled and the best groups I can get are 1.55".IMHO- The bores are too loose to maintain a grip inside the sabot and don't obtain enough spin to stabilize or with Sabotless the jacket is too hard to obturate well enough to grip the grooves and obtain enough spin. Even with knurling I had inconsistency and gave up after about 2-3 boxes:)
The XTP's just obturate(both inside sabot as well as sabotless)and shoot beautifully..
