So I have a knight mountaineer in a 52 caliber and I'm wondering how well a big cast bullet would shoot out of this thing. I've read in places that because of the twist in the rifling that it's great but I can't find any bullets. In fact what would be a good grain of bullet and how long of a bullet would be a good one to shoot?

Dixie Gun Works has boolits in various diameters including some not-so-common ones. Think I saw at least one .52" ish offering...
