bullet seating pressure

I have read that excessive bullet seating pressures can cause pellets to crush affecting performance.
I have had variable performance with 2 X 50 50 pellets and 295 Powerbelts.
Do you have any suggestions on how firm I should be seating the bullet. I do not tap the load but use fairly firm pressure. I am concerned that the "stud" holding the Powerbelt skirt may cause crushing.

When you feel the bullet make contact with the pellets, Stop!
