Cooling rods?

I am fortunate that I can drive my truck within 10 feet of where I target shoot. On hot summers days I leave my truck running with the AC blasting while shooting. I will put a hot barrel gun in the truck to cool down as I am shooting a different gun. I will prop the gun up right in front of the vents to get direct air flow to cool them. This has always worked good for me.

With the price of gas I think I would only shoot if my woodstove was cranking or plowing snow !/Ed
