Shot my first deer with the CVA Wolf this evening. It was also my first deer hunting on my own.
120# doe, came out 45 minutes before sundown along with a spike. Took the shot at 30 yards, put it right on the shoulder. The shot knocked her down, she then got up and made about 25 yards before going down to stay.
2 triple seven pellets and a 295gr Powerbelt HP. No exit wound, but when I looked at the rib cage from the inside there was a hole I could put my fist through.
Thanks to all of you I had a lot of confidence going into the woods tonight with the CVA!
