We have only the Westley Richards Monkey tail here that uses the paper cartridge and they are also getting scarce now , but what a blast to make ammo and shooting it !
 
I don't know much about them guns.  Sort of a combination muzzle/breech loader? Isn't that rifle a product of the Boer wars with the Dutch and English? Sorry if I got that all wrong.
 
Yes it was one of the last cross-over rifles before brass cartridges came into vogue.

The Boer forces liked it because it could be used as a muzzleloader once you've used up all your ammo.

Last time it was actively used in war by the Boers was at the battle of Amajuba , the English forces was all equipped with the .303 Lee rifle by this time but still got their butts kicked.
