Northern Precision 44 Caliber 350 Grain Bullet

Just curious....why does the bullet show rifling when it was shot in a sabot? I've never noticed any imprinting on the bullets I have recovered and I always use sabots.

Perhaps what you see is stains on the bullet from the burn; in the spaces between the petals of the sabot?

My green CR’s usually flare a bit more than that, but that’s exactly what I’m talking about.

You probably burn more powder than 59 grain weighed of Blackhorn.
