Anyone here chronograph their Optima V2?
I have done mine and my sons with the best accuracy loads they each shot. Mine shoots T7 fffg 90 gr volume (79.7 gr weighed average) the best and chronos at 2066 fps, my sons prefers 80 gr volume (66.7 gr weighed average) T7 fffg at 1947 fps, both shooting win 209 primers and Hornady 240 gr XTP's in the black sabot supplied by Traditions (think it's an MMP sabot).
Both guns will print 3 shots at 100 yards 3/4"-1" under good conditions, using a 3-9X power scope set at 9X. Sighted at 100 yards they are good out to 125 yards without hold over for deer hunting, as max bullet drop is -1 1/4" and -1 1/2" respectively. Even 150 yards is not much of an issue as they are - 3 1/4" and -3 3/4" respectively. Really not much difference between the 2 guns/loads.
Just curious if anyone else has taken the time to chronograph their best load(s).
