Ramrod bouncing with pelletized powder

I am familiar with the approach of bouncing the ram rod a few times to check that the bullet is fully seated on the powder charge by the sound and “bounce” of the rod when it hits the bullet.

What I am wondering is if people do the "bounce' when using a pelletized powder charge?

Is there concerns about crushing the pellets or anything else? Maybe a slightly different technique is used?

There is no reason to bounce the ramrod! When loading just push the bullet down to the powder till it stops. If using pellets that's all that's needed or you may break the pellets. With loose powder one can compress a little then mark the rod at the muzzle.
Stop bouncing the rod, not needed or required!!

There's too many videos on YouTube showing guys bouncing that ramrod. I'll wager that a good number of them barely know what they're doing anyhow.

DO NOT BOUNCE THE ROD.Can damage the bullet and crush the pellets.No accuracy.

If you're going to rod bounce you need one of those neck scarves and a very dapper jacket like that Pedersoli YouTube guy has!!

Whanging the ramrod can break the pellet and change its burning characteristics.

i always whang the ramrod once when using granular powder.

I have never bounced the ramrod using pellets or loose powder- push until fully seated and that's it.
