tpcollins sent this bullet for testing. However he added a wrinkle; the hollow point bullet was sent as a tipped bullet. He procured tips from Barnes, and installed them in these hollow point bullets.

The bullet was pushed by 50g of Blackhorn in this test, which is also the hunting load Tim has his grandson shooting. Range was 25 yard.

























After penetrating the carpet, and plywood, the bullet went through the front jug, and split the back side. The second jug had entrance, and exit holes. The third jug contained the bullet, and had an entrance hole. The fourth, and fifth jug were undamaged.

That's one bad looking bullet and worked good for the weight and tipped to. I would like to see more on this bullet.
 
Holy cow Ron - that's better than I expected. I think it would do enough damage to a deer's lung area to harvest it if I keep it under 50 yards.
