Muzzy maybe a rubber plug in each end with it filled with turpintine might be better ?? I wonder if a guy let that soak a day or 2 if that would make it any easier ??? What do you think......

I got thinkin about this and i remembered that Otters makes a reverse plateing tool to remove metal deposits from your bore !!! Rubber plugs on both ends with a stainless rod lengthwise.completely though both plugs too and a electrical unit with reverse polarity . Got a solution you fill a bore with too . Turn it on and walk away and it deposits the deposits on the rod !!!!!! They work AWESOME !!!! Last i knew they were a bit pricey at around $160 or so . Copper , lead GONE !!!!!!

I wouldn't leave that mix in a steel barrel for more than a half hour. absolute tops. Maybe a little longer in stainless or nitride. I've heard of it pitting steel in 6 hours.

Sorry, i skipped over the turpentine part. I am not familiar with turp and it's affects on steel or lead. I meant the vinegar
Wont hurt steel . Makes a diesel run like a MONSTER though , just dont have a electrcal lift pump in the tank cuz it will kill it Quick !!!! Trivia.......a bonus lol......

They don't fit tight enough to leave much copper. If any at all. Now, Thors is another thing. I got a lot of copper with them.
The Bore Scrubber I use seems to get what little copper sticks.
I miss my PRB. They don't leave anything.
