Thats one heck of a rainbow to be holding under and over for with a 300 grain PB. I like the 100 yard zero and hold over until it gets off the animal and then I can dial.

I know the PB Aerolite gets a bad rap but it’s design is perfect for long range expansion at lower velocities.

I shoot long range all the time. I would as likely forget to put my gun in the truck as I would forget to re zero.

And because I gathered my ballistic data and entered it into my Hornady app, I dialed the turret on my Leupold VX5 HD 2-10x42 to 7.0 MOA at 200 yards and shot this group. Might get a chance to dial in on a buck hitting the cornfield this season

Yes a MOA only CDS dial vs a custom one. Sorry for the confusion.

I don’t like custom dials I just use MOA dual and use a Ballistic app.

I’m putting a Leupold VX5HD 2-10x42 with the CDS dial on my Accura MR. Anyone dial for drop on their muzzleloader? With the right bullet I could see it extending the range of the gun.

With my CVA Accura MR with a 25” barrel based off the posted ballistics with BH209 and the 300 grain Aerolite I bet I’m about 1700-1750 FPS. The shorter barrel of the MR might “neuter” some of the BH209 velocity.
