jims the problem with the .375 cal. is there is no standard barrel for sabotless shooting. the 9.3 mm barrel will work for a .35 cal. you could have a special size barrel made but it would be expensive. but the .375 cal. would be my choice too. sb

mmm i have to disagree with you rb, blackpowder and any gun powder is anaerobic. patassium nitrate is the oxygen source in blackpowder, not sure what it is in pyrodex or tripple 7. blackpowder cartridges are loaded to 100% powder density for maximum burn efficency especially with fff powder...

never had a muzzleloader checked by odnr but it does say .38 cal. or larger. but they do not specify about sub calibre bullet size. so we can shoot any size bullet in a minimum .38 calibre barrel. so you could have a .375 barrel and if someone would make sabots, you could shoot .35 or .323-(8mm)...

yep i have one of those .410 whites ina super 91. it is quite devastating on deer witha 400 grain bullet. havent found a set of shoulders that can withstand it yet. sb
