Just couldn't leave her there...

Mines almost identical. About the same vintage too. Bought mine a year old. Beat mine like a rented mule but it never disappoints.

I have one in a 308 mx, fantastic rifle. Shoots almost everything moa. It gets almost 2900 FPS with a 150 gr bullet to boot. Its very light and a dream to carry. I think you will really enjoy it and give her a good name too….

Pretty wood there that rifle was taken care of. Good buy there. I have a 1976 336C gold trigger no bar safety. My wood is very similar to yours. Bought it back in '76 for $99 at the local K-Mart. It is not going anywhere.

That is pretty. I also have a weakness for nicely grained walnut and also lever actions. I have a couple Henrys and Winchesters and one Marlin 1895.
