This morning the 50 caliber 325g Bloodline was shot using 50g of Blackhorn powder. The load consisted of the bullet, powder, W209 primer, and a short black sabot, doctored by cutting the petals off, used as a wad. The vent liner used today, had a 0.033" flash hole. Range was 25 yard to the carpet, plywood, 6 water jugs, and phone book.

The photo show how the bullet blew right through the phone book leaving bits and pieces scattered. The attempt to find the bullet using the metal detector, was to no avail. Whenever a bullet blew right through everything in previous tests, it was found the bullet did not work. This morning the plywood with the carpet attached only landed about 6' in front of the horse. Yesterday, when 80g of powder was used, the carpet was blown off the plywood, and they landed about 30' out front of the horse.
