My 1-20 twist Super 45 XR shoots both the 200 SST and XTP's very well. The XTP at a muzzle velocity of 1800 fps makes their innards look like they swallowed a grenade. Haven't shot a critter with the SST.
Another fine bullet is the 180 grain 40 cal XTP. Have killed 2 deer with them. Muzzle velocities 1550 and 1750 fps. Charges were 50 and 60 grains of 3f Swiss respectively. The 50 gr charged dropped a doe at 50 yards. BOOMflop. The 60 grain dropped a nice 8 pointer with a marginal rear lungs hit. Deer ran about 50 yards and gave it up. Recovered bullet weighed 122 grains.
I was nervous about the 40' s, being a long time user of the 250 grain 452 XTP'S in my 50 cal.
Not nervous anymore!

Thanks that's the info I was looking for.
